HDMI
HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is a compact audio/video interface for transmitting uncompressed digital data. It represents a digital alternative to consumer analog standards such as Radio Frequency (RF) coaxial cable, composite video, S-Video, SCART, component video, D-Terminal, and VGA.
This adapter allows one end of a standard 'HDMI male to HDMI male' cable to be converted to DVI-D male. This is very useful if you need to plug a device such as a PS3 with a HDMI output into a projector.
